Actually I nominate myself as most useless speller - I even failed to spell flail in my earlier post! Actually though fail would be a better word for the thing that chris built.

Another nomination is AD&D - Is it the worst rpg in the world? Of the succesfull ones I have to say its pretty bad!

AD&D is cack, but have you guys ever attempted a game called crimson empire? its not so muck cack game wise but the guy who wrote the book messed it up BIIIGGGG style!
Its impossible to read let alone play from!
As for spelling, nope i dont think so, unless you can ask peoples to ear not earn something and do silly mistakes like that i win!

Now when we talk about computer games, there are some that are far beyond any league that has ever existed they are that good, some may even call it a league of their own. You see, classic long-living games such as Half-Life: Counter-Strike is by all means one of the top games ever created and still lives on today despite its comparitively poo graphics. Other Real-Time Strategy games such as Command & Conquer: Generals and Call of Duty also fall into this category, though are not so long lived.

Then on the other end of the scale, there are the shit games. Now by my logic, a game that comes out and is just wank, is just wank. A game however that has the potential to be good, even tries to be good and was maybe even intended to be good yet turns out to be wank is far worse. Take Cossacks for example, its useless shite. Nobody apart from about 2 people i know even know of the game and neither of those can play it particularly well. Think Age of Empires with shitter graphics and less diversity, you build an army, your army attacks someone else or you get attacked, you win or lose.

Other useless items i can think of right now are net curtains and Boron (Yes, thats the element that can be found somewhere in a square on your local periodic table)

Never read crimson empires but i can imagine - there is some badly produced shite out there - one that springs to mind was called something like "Imortals" The tag line should have been "blatant rip off of White wolfs world of darkness" It was a badly produced bad game which I bought presumably in a moment of extreme bad taste and never even bothered to wade through enough to comment of the rules system. It was a poor "Story telling game" Which means you have to talk about your feelings whilst saving up enough xp to buy the death ninja kill touch monster combat skill™. Looking back it was such a rip off of white wolf stuff - the cheesy different clans you get to pick from which are usually (even in the world of darkness stuff) The combat wombats, the sensitive types, the magicky magicky types, the animal lovers and the insane ones. well you get the idea.

Even worse was the strange and bizarre way it was presented - instead of being a page of text and a page of pictures or a combination of the two it seemed to have a 3 quarter length page of text and then the last quater of the page was text was a different thing completly - unrelated to the main body of the text above it. THis made reading it a nightmare and then add in the black print over anything other than white and you can probably see why I never got very far with it!

What more can I say? How about "Give me feng shui or give me pizza!"

Well the biggest challenge was avoiding the migrane you would incur by reading the bloody thing for more than 5 mins due to its awful lay out! No what else is useless - short handled wheel brace thingys that always come with the car rather than the decent ones you buy yourself for extortionate prices from car accessories shops - yep guess who was late for work today! Chris, you havnt been playing ninjas up here in co durham have you?

Well tortured if you like ad&d thats fine, I just found it to be such an artificial feeling game - really showing its age badly. Sure you can have fun with it but it does kinda belong to the days when it was enough characterisation to say "I am a warrior" I know you dont have to play that way but it just kinda feels wrong to me

Only ever played a brief sesh run by our very own mr fluffykins Azamoth the faceless (aka Azamoth the faithless aka Azamoth the undying aka Azamoth the pate) but it was pretty good - thats probably down to him and his gm style more than the game system though.
