It's going... ok.
I'm working my skinny little ass off here at uni, but then I can't really whinge about that as all the stuff I'm doing is really interesting (and as I'm doing ancient near eastern mythology at the mo, also excellent plot inspiration
). Also I get fed, and my room gets cleaned, and I don't have to do the washing up, and I'm surrounded by young beautiful people (mostly...). So that side of life is excellent.
Kate and I are on a bit of a break, which has been rubbish
. The silver lining is of course that I can pull girls while going to get my coat. Result. Also my lechery quotient has soared - a source of endless amusement for my (male) mates.
I'm been eschewing roleplay in favour of Kayacking - I feel very outdoorsy and manly.
I have however started painting some LOTR models - just a few orcs and warriors of minis tirith at the moment (I want to play the storming of Osgiliath). I can't decide what to concentrate on though. Orcs who have Wargs which I think look pretty amazing, or Haradrim who have Mumaks, a funky Hashasin look about them. Have yet to buy the rules though so it could yet come to nothing.
