Just to let everyone know there are some lovely lamps for night lights at Morrisons at the moment in the Garden Produce aisle - 2 lamps for £3.00

They are really good value and I would heartily recommend everyone to get one for the winter adventuring months.

Tom Burr would be the man to ask but he came up with the idea of covering a ring binder or file-o-fax with a foam design and then latexing or covering it with PVA.

or

Buy a real nice diary or the like and use that

i got a really good leather ring binder from whsmiths  that comes in a few colors, i think that the way mine has turned out is quite good for a spellbook  ^_^

For writing beer recipes on I bought a roll of brown paper (69p from Wilkos) and cut it into scroll sized bits which I tied with ribbon. You will see some at the next event.
