Thanks to Phil , one photo resized and onto site. I'll do the rest later (if I can remember how).
I love my old SLR camera, arty chiaruscaro lighting without b***** flashes. Time to save up for a digital SLR.
Please may I take some more at the next event? - we're missing some action shots. Clearly I don't want to be in the way or distracting people, but you guys put so much effort into the role play it ought to be recorded occasionally.
Maybe some willing volunteers duing time out or quiet periods would be preferable?
Cheers,
Christine

B*****! left Phil's instructions at school - can't remember last couple of steps for using imageshack to resize and post images. Matt, I tried really hard to follow instructions on their website, but they seemed to be written in the same gibberish I've spent the afternoon speaking during roleplay with my class as a Native American meeting Tudor settlers in the New World - I only had a few authentic phrases, the best being 'windgancon' (What gay clothes you wear!) very apt for Chris in his flouncy white lace shirt as Quentin Fitzpatrick, witch hunter. I bet your primary schools weren't like that!
I digress, frustration with ineptness with technology aside, I'll try again tomorrow with instructions clutched in my anxious hand.
I'm open to any other ways to resize images to fit forum, as long as instructions suitable for tired teacher to understand with minimum befuddlement.
Christine.

You dont need to use image shack

Just download microsoft image resizer for xp only 512k file

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloa...ppowertoys.mspx

install it

then any image you want to resize just right click on it and select resize a window will open asking what size select 680x460 it will then make the image smaller in file size and image size and it will leave the orgianl the same size the new file will be my_image (small).jpg

You can then click File Attachments just under the smiles when you post and browse to image on the pc then once its uploaded click reply and jobs done.

Yummy! (sorry, went a bit girly then) I love this pic - artistically of course. Check out the lighting on that bread roll.

Fosters-final pic - many thanks, forum admin - What is a reasonable number of pics to post without bunging up the site?
Christine.

Theres no limit Chris has deep pockets and long arms lol.

If we have lots of photos it might be worth setting up a gallery for them then that can be posted for each event or past even if peeps have some pics.

The only thing to remeber is keep the file size small like the image prog does :)
