Kate and I really enjoyed ourselves this Wednesday, although we're both a bit sad about the death of our alchemical friend, with whom we'd just struck up an interesting IC rapport!

Dean, can I encourage you to play a cooper next? I don't think big plastic bins are very convincing props and I'm not sure if I can motivate myself to make my own barrels!

Alex - following previous conversations about acquiring real skills and knowledge - does this mean that Dean either has hidden coopering skills or needs to start playing with oak, fire and water? (sounds fun)

Good to see you both there - I've already prepared a couple more customised beers for next time.

I have been having a think about that one, and have come up with the following:

Old Speckled Hypogriff
Pontiff's Finger
Brewer's IPA (Illyrian Pale Ale)
Melnibone's Old Empire
Wolfenstein XB

As for the coopering, I think its only a matter or time...
