Forthcoming Events
« on: March 14, 2008, 11:25:11 AM »
I would like to run an additional Saturday event in the spring holidays. It will be something of an experiment in the sense that the actual "meaty plot" will run in the evening from around six till late, but it will be time in from lunchtime.
The cost of the event will be aound £5.00 including the insurance tax and will be a continuation of the Derarkshire plot.
My thoughts are that this will be something for everyone in the sense that those who only want a heavy plot game will choose to come in the evening but those who are quite happy to sit in character and chat without much plot can come all day (there will be no difference in price for either). The daytime event will have stuff going on but not that is crucial to the evenings plot in any way.
It should also give me some time to chat to people about safe use of weapons, rules explanations, charcater design, plot ideas etc. off site as well. Some people may want to work in the wolf in character, cook food or whatever.
Would appreciate some feedback on this idea please.

Chris

Sounds good me. Will give people time to have IC conversations with out being disturbed by attacks all the time. Some times you need to have quite important IC conversations and just as you are half way through you will hear "BOYS!!!". Will be great fun because it will suit everyone people who want to do more plot and fighting etc. can come in the evening. cheers Ryan. -_-

yer thats true I just mean not major ones. And it is a lot longer than a wolf night meaning there is more time to chat to people IC. I like it when we get attacks but I like chatting IC aswell.

It sounds great to me - I've not wanted to stop after the last 2 events, so It will be great to be able to stay in character for longer and get more done. My only problem is my busy weekends - any idea of the actaul date?

Should hopefully be there for a change rather than just a disembodied collection of posts on here.

I'll be there - just need to confirm date and the time are we likely to run to- presumably late?
It'll be good to see you Jane and Darklord ... you're in danger of becoming figments of our fevered imaginations.

Next Wolf night on Wednesday 14th May as normal - £2.00 entry + 50p insurance

Following that the next one will fall in the holidays 28th May and I hope to run an all day event - cost will be £5.00 like last time and will be fairly low key plot until the evening when it will be a wolf night as normal.
Can't promise stuff won't happen during the day but I will avoid getting completely bladdered and playing a mummy too well (stumbling and shot full of embalming fluid) this time.

Start around 1.00 ish like the last saturday one.

I've learnt my lesson as well - never accept in-character shaves from overly-inebriated GMs

Looking at being at the all day event. Bear in mind Van Da'Meere will be bringing his family - he is married now.
