Galamash all day event/ weekend?
« on: July 27, 2009, 12:20:25 PM »
I have not forgotten Galamash but have decided that as Rob and Ross are catering for linears quite well at the present I will hang fire.

To get the players into the area like I had originally planned I have devised a cunning new method.

Baron Von Storm will be offering a delapidated and disused tavern to the person he believes is the most likely to turn a profit and bring this once thriving Galamash tavern back into profit.
As such he will invite all those interested parties to the tavern for a dayu/weekend to decide who will make the best choice. Essentailly this will be an interview event - play a character who will either be attempting to get the tavern or a friend/hireling/relative of another character who is.

Start planning characters but don't stat them yet - I am toying with the idea of a fairly systemless set of events (gasp horror!!)
You may want to consider giving your character a dark secret (nothing too crazy) that you can submit to the Gamesmaster  well beforehand.

If you would prefer I can write a character for you - this can be as open ended as you will. You could just say "Hey Chris I will have a pre-generated character - or you could say "Chris - can I have a fairly tough warrior type who once owned a tavern in Maladon" - if I flesh out the characters however it gives more chance to have little bits of plots crossing over - Like the Big Indoor roleplays we used to do.

Its up to you - but think heavy on the Roleplaying - light on combat, realism above rules!
