OOh nearly forgot, reading "Banquet for the damned" By adam lg nevile at the moment - very british ghost/supernatural horror with just a touch of rock n roll.  Fantastic writer.  Also I cannot believe no ones mentioned Bill Hussey on here yet - Havent got the abscence yet but I thought "through a glass darkly" was fantastic.
